Mid--Year Academic Reflection

Seniors
You have finished your senior fall semester and are only a few months away from graduation!
Having had nearly four years of high school, take some time to reflect on your experience.

Thinking about your efforts and experiences in core classes since you were a freshman, what are
some of the ways you’ve evolved as a student? What has been your biggest challenge(s) in your
core classes? What are some of the most rewarding experiences you’ve had academically?
Consider examples that you may remember long after high school.

Some ways I’ve evolved as a student is that I am responsible and confident enough to be
a leader. I have always been nervous when it came to presenting and reading aloud, but this year
I was able to become more outgoing. Some of my biggest challenges in my core classes is having
to memorize concepts for APES and American Government. I do not have the best memory, so
memorizing is a big challenge for me. The most rewarding experience I had academically is
passing Pre/Calc & Trig with 100%. Something I will remember after high school is not having
to take the final for math because I passes over a 95 percent and the relief I had when not having
to worry about it.

Looking ahead, what do you need to do during your last semester to accomplish your goals?
I need to manage my time so I don’t have to struggle in finals. I also want to pass math again
with above a 95% so I don’t have to take the test.
