Future career interests (if known):
Computer Programmer or Software Engineer, and Computer Graphic Designer
1. Self Advocacy
2. Have personal goals
Description of Artifact (*The personal artifact may be anything that demonstrates growth, skills, interests, discoveries, and/or abilities
from your experience this last year -- can be school-related or not.)
This I Believe event poster. I volunteered to design the ad poster for CHS’ This I Believe
event this year.
How did your experience with this artifact change or impact you?
My experience with this artifact changed/impacted me by discovering how to use new
tools on photoshop-I had to look up how to do something I visioned in my mind and learned how
to use the pen tool properly.
Did you see growth in your targeted soft skills through the course of working on this artifact?
Explain.
Yes I did. One of my goals was to learn more about photoshop and start branching out
into similar programs, and I have. I learned how to use a few tools I’ve never used before within
this last semester, and I have learned how to use Clip Studio Paint, which I personally think is
more complicated than PS.
Provide an example of how the skills you practiced or the knowledge you gained via this artifact
may also be used in a career in which you are interested.

It’s good that I’m teaching myself now on how to use the various features on Photoshop
and other graphic design programs because if I do go into graphic design, I’ll be required to work
on photoshop and other programs knowing how to use all, if not most, of the programs’ features.
