1) What is Faith?

“Faith comes by hearing the word of God through the testimony of the servants of God.”
Ang faith, kinakailangan talaga nating making sa salita ng Diyos at ganun na din sa mga
testimony ng mga servants ng Diyos. Sa pamamagitan non, magkakaroon tayo ng faith sa
Diyos dahil sa mga testimony ng mga Apostles. Ang faith natin mas lalong mapapalakas
dahil sa kanila at dahil sa kanilang mga gawa.”

2) Who is God/ Buddha in one’s life?

“God, He is a living God, nang dahil sa kaniya we believe in Him. Binigay niya yung only
begotten Son niya na si Jesus Christ para magbigay ng opportunity na makabalik tayo sa
kaniya. SAbi nga nila, na dahil kay Jesus Christ, “No man comes to the Father but by me”.
Kailangan duman muna tayo kay Jesus Christ through His attendant’s para tubusin lahat
ng mga kasalanan natin at yung mga opportunity din natin para makabalik kay God.”

3) Cite three things necessary for the salvation of humanity.

“First is kinakailangan na magkaroon tayo ng faith sa kaniya, maniwala tayo na may Diyos,
yun yung pinaka kailangan nating gawin. Second is, dapat tayong mag sisi sa ating mga
kasalanan para magkaroon tayo ng faith, at magkaroon ng pananampalataya kay Jesus
Crist at syempre mag repent tayo sa kung anuman yung nagawa nating nakakasira kase
we are human beings, walang perpekto sa atin. Third is pinapaalala din na magpabinyag
tayo, sabi nga ni Jesus Christ, “Unless one is born of the water and the Spirit, cannot enter
the Kingdom of God.” Si Jesus Christ, nagpabinyag siya kahit wala naman siyang
kasalanan, through His example, dapat tayo rin na makasalanan, makapagbinyag tayo
para mabawasan an gating mga kasalanan. And lastly is, you should follow His
commandments. Pinsakamahalagang gawin ay ang sumunod tayo sa kaniyang mga
kautusan.Dahil kahit na magkaroon tayo ng faith sa Kanya, kahit nag-repent na tayo sa
ating mga kasalanan, at kahit nagpabinyag kana, kung di naman sinusunod yung yung mga
utos ni heavenly father, wala rin itong saysay.”

4) What is your reflection on their answer in question #3?

The person who we have interviewed said that the three things that are the most
important or necessary for human salvation is faith, repentance, and baptism. But these
things cannot be whole without the person following the word of the lord. As a catholic
person who is interviewing a president of Mormon church in Bayombong, it is
enlightening for me that we as a being made by the same God are being taught of the
same teachings no matter what the religion. It is through our constant faith in him that
we are blessed and that faith will be our light to see and understand the deeper meaning
of things and understand the holistic sense of our beliefs. Next is that He talked about
repentance which for me is also essential for my faith because, our human body is full of
imperfections that needs to be cleansed and our human body has desires that limits us
from our full potential. Lastly, following his words and baptism. He said that life without
baptism is a life invalid of receiving the kingdom of God, this statement made me wonder
on how our life should be. Our beingness could have lead us to different paths and
different understandings due to our free will and the ability to rationalize but the life with
the understanding of being with the lord in his kingdom comes with the renewal of our
life to Christianity brought about by our baptism and by this renewal comes a life wherein
we put God in the front of our life, guiding us all throughout our journey on a path where
we follow all his words and will made us complete and our life’s testimony will be the
evidence of our life in the earth with the providence of our God
