Bbfc stands for the British board of film classification set up in 1912, they

BBFC are a private organisation who will receive films before they are to be
released to the public, analyse them and apply an age rating as guidance
for the public. A film rated 18 will usually contain strong language, drug
use and sex scenes and when the bbfc see this they can deem it in
appropriate for people under the age 18 as they should not be seeing
this type of content . they also in 2015 signed a deal with Sony ,
universal , warner they have all agreed that they should rate all music
videos as well to improve child protection online and consumer
awareness.

The Office of Communications, commonly known as Ofcom, is the UK


OFCOM government-approved regulatory and competition authority for the
broadcasting, telecommunications and postal industries of the United
Kingdom. Ofcom has wide-ranging powers across the television, radio,
telecoms and postal sectors. Ofcom is a private company and is funded
by the industry as they charge fees for regulating broadcasting and
communication networks, and grant from the government which is
taken from the public who pay their TV licence. An example of Ofcom’s
ability is to decide if a programme should be shown after watershed w

live performance and products , allowing the industry to grow and artists to
make a living of their own work and not have it copied.

They help companies by providing a wide range of services by providing
