To whom it may concern,
| am writing to you regarding Ms. Ashley Silbert. I have known Ms. Silbert for
since 2016. My relationship to Ms. Silbert began when she entered the Teacher
Preparation Program at Michigan State University. Over the past years, I have
had the pleasure of getting to know this adventurous spirited person. Ms.
Silbert has often used her summers and long school breaks to further her
experience as an educator by traveling to countries outside the United States in
search of experiences that will enhance her teaching,
In my role at MSU as the Pre-Intern Placement Coordinator, I coordinated Ms.
Silbert’s undergraduate school placements as required by her coursework.
Upon completing her senior year at MSU, her mentor teacher shared her
confidence in Ms. Silbert’s future as a teacher by reporting, “Ashley is ready for
a great year of internship. She cares for the students and their learning goals
and is positive in the classroom. She takes feedback to heart and utilizes it to
improve her instruction. It has been a pleasure having her in our classroom!”
Over the years, | have known Ms. Silbert, I have always looked forward to her
surprise visits to my office when she would share her latest adventures and her
plans for the future. It has been abundantly obvious that Ms. Silbert has a
passion for teaching and experiences great joy in her chosen field of work.
Teaching is hard work and requires one to have this passion. Ms. Silbert brings
a special energy to any experience with which she is involved.
Sincerely,
Andrea J. Kelly M. Ed.
