WRITING TASK 1

The line graph illustrates by the proportion of transport users per day by car, bus
and train in the UK through six-decade period.
Overall, car and bus were the most popular in the first decade period. In
addition, there was an upward trend in the number of car and train users after
2000, while the number of bus commuters decreased gradually from 1980 to
2030.
Regarding the most commom commuters by car, the figure grown gradually
between 1970 and 2000, over 5 to nearly 7 million.Then the figure went to
significantly the next three decades and reach a peak at 9 million in 2030. As for
train, the trend was similar. Having levelled off at approximately 2 million in
the first decade, then rose considerably, reaching 3 million in 2000 and become
a second common transport after 2015.
By contrast, the usersof bus went in the opposite direction. The commuters
started at 4 million in the first ten-year period. After that, the figure deropped
steadily and hit a trough at 3 million in 2030.
