I am writing this letter to you because I am interested in your opening as a College English
Writer in College Comp 1. I know this job has a lot of writing, which is something I excel at. I
found out about this position from a friend of mine, who is a fellow College English Writer.

I think I am qualified for this position because I have recently passed my AP English, Language,
and Composition test, and I have gotten the college credit for it. I have also gotten above an 85%
in all of my English classes throughout my high school career.
