ETHOS 

This ad is for the coming up movie ‘Juice’. This relates to ethos because tupac being in 
it presents credibility. Since tupac was a gangster thug then audiences are going to 
believe this movie about that type of thing is going to be good. Also tupac being an up 
and coming popular star is going to get people to see the movie since he’s famous. 
Having tupac be the main character is a smart strategy because people love him 
therefore they’re going to see the movie just because he’s in it.  

PATHOS 
Pathos is the appeal to emotion. This whole ad is nothing but pathos. It already has 
audiences feel some type of way due to him being murdered. The background in the ad 
is the last picture taken of him before he was shot. You can really see the look in his 
eyes almost like he’s scared or sad. This pulls at the heart strings of audiences. Seeing 
a young tupac caring a child depicts the other side of him, not just the thug life gang 
affiliated rapper.  
 
LOGOS 
Logos is the appeal to logic and statistics. In this poster graphs and charts are posted 
up near the sides. It shows how he has the most popular profane rap album, data 
taken recently. It compares him with other famous notorious rappers. The second 
peace of data being a comparison of him and biggie side by side. As most know Biggie 
and Pac were the stars of the east coast west coast beef. The table states that tupac 
holds more all time streams than biggie, thus making him the better rapper and 
proving it with actually charts and evidence to back it up.
