Chers familles,

Bonjour!
My name is Tasha Pegg and I am a 4th year student in the Bachelor
of Education program at Vancouver Island University. Over the next 4
weeks I will be working on a couple of different subjects with Sarah’s
class. We will be doing a wild animals of Canada research project,
where each student will choose an animal they want to research then
create a brochure with the information they collect. We will also be
learning about 2D and 3D shapes and how shapes are all around us in
our daily lives. Feel free to encourage your kids to point out 2D shapes
around the house!
A few things about me, I went through the French Immersion
program growing up and found it to be such a positive and enriching
experience. In order to brush up on my French language skills after high
school, I travelled around Europe for a few months and I also took a
summer course at Laval University in Quebec City. I am so excited to be
in such a great class with unique individuals and able to help students
enjoy some of the same immersion experiences that I had.
Feel free to ask me any questions or to pop by after school to say
“Bonjour”!
Merci,

Tasha Pegg
