    Memoir in Sixes

    ...and indecision begins with two names.


    Presets: quiet, unyielding, intelligent, neurotic, nascent.
    Love expressed through dinosaurs and dancing.
    Never with boys; always with girls.
    I patiently await my Hogwarts letter.
    Thank god for my sister’s ambition

    Gifted and talented means actual friends.


    And then I grow with them.
    And now I’ll never leave them.

    High School: (IB), Copasetics, and Grey’s Anatomy.


    A Yule Ball alleviates future heartbreak.
    A prom always needs blue roses.

    I leave (enjoy freedom) and fall.


    The ground softens with friends around.
    I return home for mental growth.

    Books sing to me once more.


    I find my place amidst strangers.
    I make my own magic now.

    A friendly secret can mean growth.


    ...and indecision now meets with waiting...
