Appreciation

Appreciation: ​Recognition and enjoyment of the good qualities of someone or something.

I chose to write this paper of appreciation to Mr. Andrew Calzadillas. I've known Mr. Calzadillas

for all 4 years of my high school career at Merced High School, And one more year because my

sister was an active student of his involved in FCCLA as well. Before I met Mr. Calzadillas and

before I had entered high school I was a kind of shy kid and didn't really say what was on my

mind or I would have an opinion on something but wouldn't share it out of fear, or simply just

me minding my own business.

If I was to never meet Mr. C before I wouldn't be as involved in school for example he is

the reason I joined a club here on campus called FCCLA and Prostart and showcased the

culinary techniques he had taught me over my freshman and sophomore year, If I wouldn't have

met him I most definitely wouldn't feel as comfortable as I do at school and would be more shy

and keep to myself. Mr. Calzadillas is an affable person, I feel as if every student that he

interacts with feels welcome because he has such a warm humor and is such a fun uplifting

person to be around. He is also such an animated person and is very charismatic and dependable.

I can depend on Mr. C to listen to any issue or problem that I have and most of the time he is

here to give me the best possible advice or solution to the issue which has most definitely been a

help and contribution to developing my character into who I am as a young adult today.

Mr. C has gotten me involved in FCCLA which contributed to me opening up a lot more,

being able to speak my mind, making a lot of friends, and having a lot more fun during high

school. Mr. C has guided me into being the responsible,outspoken, and determined person that I
am today, His influence will forever be in my head and heart and I will always remember the life

lessons that he has taught me through the 4 years of high school I have attended with him.
