HOW TO PLAY: STEAMWORKS AND LAN

STEP 1 - Install Game

STEP 2 - Apply the Steamworks Fix
Extract the archive to your game folder
(Where the game's executable is located).
To find your game folder, right click the game's shortcut icon and select "open
file location".
Overwite all files.

STEP 3 - Run Steam

Once you have setup steam, run Steam[/v].
Login with your (fake) Steam Account.

STEP 4 - Run the Game

Locate the Borderlands 2 desktop shortcut or "Borderlands2.exe".
Execute it (as Administrator), in order to start the game.

Hosting (Steamworks)
Go to menu and ensure your Network Options are set to "Online Public".
Choose your Character and continue your game or start a new one.
Now you can send Steam Invites to invite players to your game.
Or wait for players to join you.

Joining (Steamworks)
Go to menu and ensure your Network Options are set to "Online Public".
Search for online games via the "Matchmaking" option in menu and join any of the
results or accept Steam Invites.

After joining, choose your Character and play.

Hosting & Joining (LAN)

Follow STEP 3 and 4 of "HOW TO PLAY: LAN ONLY".
