I have known Pedro for the last two years as a student in my United States Iistory class. Pedro is a young man who is driven, ambitious, and hardworking, Asa student Pedro has maintained a 3.6 GPA during his high school career. Pedro’s academic record displays a willingness to learn and a desite to challenge himself in order to prepare himself for college. ‘Throughout Pedro’s career as a student at Merced High School he has been very active on campus. He has been a member of the soccer team for the last four years serving as the team captain on the varsity team during his junior and senior years. The clubs that he is a part as well as the soccer team of have definitely benefited from his leadership. He is currently serving as treasurer of the soccer club which he has been a member of all four years of his high school career. Not only is Pedro active on campus but is also very active in the community voluntee*'ng his time mentoring young athletes.
