back on track passing my classes. High school was difficult for me since Freshman
year, I had to leave to Mexico and finish my Freshman year over there, which was a
change. I had to meet new people and make new friends, but most importantly, I had to
read and write in Spanish. I could only speak Spanish but didn’t know how to read or
write it became difficult for me to learn, but I did. I finished freshman year and passed it
with an average grade. I was getting the hang of how I had to perform in my new school
I started sophomore year and was going out well until I started to ditch class and
not going to school. That's when my grades started lowering down and I was failing a
couple of classes. My mom eventually found, out and I dropped out of school I only
finished one semester but didn’t pass all my classes. I didn’t get to start the second
semester, so I didn’t finish sophomore year. When the next year came around, I wanted
to start my junior year and wanted to go back to school, but my mom didn't want me to
go. I waited until senior year to go back to school and couldn’t be more excited to be
back.
When I started my senior year, I realized I was so behind and I knew that it was
impossible for me to make up all my credits in such a short period. I never gave up I
tried my hardest and was always at my counseling office seeing new options on how to
make up my credits. While I was doing some in my classes, I was taking online classes
as well and was using my time efficiently. When I finished making up my credits, I
couldn’t believe it I couldn't believe I was going to graduate this year. Finally, with my
hard work, perseverance, and the support of my school and teachers I could make my
dream happen. I knew I was capable of accomplishing this and more I can do anything I
