A person that has influenced my life over my last four years of high school was

my mother. Before I could realize that I wasn’t taking the right decision my mom

influenced me to change and do my best. I think I would have never realized that I was

taking the wrong decisions if it weren’t for what I seen my mom going through. My mom

is a hard working mother and very humble. She works hard everyday so that me and my

siblings have everything we need. I seen her struggling through life and saw that she

feels alone and needed support.

My mom would tell me every day to change and make the right choices she said

education is the key to success. I never believed neither did I think that without me

finishing my education I would be working in jobs I hated. In the time, I wasn't in school I

was working on the fields I would finish so tired. That’s when I realized all the hard work

my mom had to do everyday and asked myself how does she do it? I saw my mom in

terrible medical conditions and she wasn’t working than. We were in such a scarce

situation without money and didn’t have enough to pay all the bills.

I became fully aware that I had to complete my education to help her out. I

started improving my grades and became the support she needs and I know that the

only way I will help her out financially is by finishing my education. My, mom has

influenced my future by having education and being able to have a good career and a

good job. If it weren’t for her, and the patience she had towards me I think I would have

never made it. She believed in me since the beginning and that's what keeps me going.
