Analog style exciter for mastering purposes,

inspired on the BBE Maximizer models.

Features:

- Warm sound and very simple to use, this exciter can be very useful to add some
subtle brighness in the high frequencies, and make the lows more dense. It has been
conceived to be used mainly on mastering, but it's also useful for individual
tracks.

- Independent controls for Low and High frequencies, bypass and global Volume Out.

- Completely automatable via MIDI CC (Controls 20,21,22,23)

- Moderate CPU use (-8% Athlon XP 2400+).

- Includes 6 presets.

Version history

v1.20 (05/02/2004):

- Volume Out knob changed to slider, to permit a smoother control of the values. It
was requested by some users.

- Recompiled with latest SynthEdit version to benefit from CPU improvements.

- Automation parameters revised and renamed when necessary for better

understanding.

v1.0 (09/07/2003)
- Initial release. Compiled with Synth Edit v0.9495.

Installation
------------
Unzip the file X-cita.dll into your VST Plugins folder.
The plugin can be used either as a Send or Insert effect.
