To Whom It May Concern,

My name is Katina Austin and I am honored to write this letter of recommendation for
Tyshianna, whom I have had the pleasure of knowing for the throughout her high school career.
She will complete her high school education this June with a senior year grade point average of
4.0, while excelling in activities both academic and extra-curricular.

During my time with Tyshianna, she has conducted herself in a professional and mature
manner, performing her activities with pride, efficiency, and without hesitation. She can be
dynamic in group settings, displaying competency in her actions and abilities. She has
demonstrated that she can accomplish goals that she has set for herself and others. She has
also demonstrated organization and dedication, by being a part of the group of students that
established the Black Student Union club on campus and by being a member of the nationally
recognized ECHS cheer squad, thereby living up to the motto of leaving a legacy.

Tyshianna is reliable, respectful, and positive. All of these qualities will help her achieve the
goals she has for her future, which include being the first in her family to attend a four year
academic institution. Attending and graduating from college is the first step in her dream of
working as a registered nurse and obtaining a BSN.

In closing, I consider Tyshianna an amazing candidate for whatever she aims to do. I consider
myself fortunate to have known her for the last few years. She possess the qualities and
ambition necessary for any activity or profession she chooses. If I can provide further
