This  is  the  story  that  will  be  used  during  a  read  aloud  to  the  whole  class  during  the  first  day  of

This  is  an  example  blank  of  how  the  chart  on  poster  paper  that  will  be  placed  in  the  front  of  the  
room  for  the  activity  during  day  one  of  the  learning  segment  will  look  like.    The  chart  will  be  
filled  in  as  we  read  the  story  with  the  emotion  in  each  column  at  the  top.    Students  will  have  
the  opportunity  to  help  fill  out  the  chart  both  during  the  read  aloud  and  after.    This  chart  will  be  
created  during  the  first  day  lesson  plan  and  will  be  used  each  day  of  the  learning  segment.    The  
chart  will  be  created  on  a  roll  of  paper,  that  way  it  can  be  as  long  as  needed.
