Hi Mum,

John and I are having a wonderful time here in Ireland. Every day we got up early and go for a long
walk in the country. When we returned we usually had a very big Irish breakfast which
normally consisted of two eggs, three slices of bacon, toast and jam. We usually ordered a cup of
coffee after breakfast: Colombian coffee, of course.

After breakfast we sometimes go swimming in the river. We often met children who like to swim
there. They were very nice. At night we nearly always drank a few pints of Guinness in the pub�s
bar before we went to bed. We always slept well after that, I can assure you.

Last vacations I went to San Andres Island. I stayed there for a week and I went with my family. We
had a blast! It was the most exciting experience because we visited a lot of beautiful places around
the island and it didn’t cost too much, we payed around 250000 pesos for each person. The place I
liked the most was the beach, it’s an amazing place to spend the day in family.

I came back three days ago, and I started working last Monday.

People should use sun cream when it’s sunny.

You should use a scarf when it’s windy.

Problem 4: What should city officials do when a hurricane is coming?

City officials should advise the community to go to safe places.

We should stay at home when there is a blizzard.

Problem 6: What should schools do when it is extremely warm?

Schools should have air conditioners or fans when it’s extremely warm.
Problem 7: What should they do when it is cold?

They should put warm clothes when it’s cold.

The weather in San Andres Island is sunny but breezy at the same time. In the morning is usually
warm and kind of cloudy, but at midday it’s totally sunny until night. At night is pretty breezy and
it’s comfortable weather.

It is recommended that you use sun cream when walking around the Island because you can get a
sun burn easily.

It is necessary that you take care of paying some taxes when you get in for the first time in the
island.

It is important to know where the principal places are, like the hotel you’re staying.

It is good idea that you bring you best camera to take a lot of photos of every place you visit in the
Island.

It is necessary that you take with you enough money to enjoy most of the activities to do in the
Island

It is recommended that you stay always with a guide when walking around some areas.

It is a good idea that you buy souvenirs to local people.

It is important to bring comfortable clothes.

You should buy your tickets with anticipation

You should book a hotel room to save money

You should ask for directions if you don’t know where you are going

You shouldn’t lose your baggage

You shouldn’t take taxis, instead walk to enjoy the view.

You shouldn’t change money in the airport.

If you’re planning a summer vacation there, I think I should give you some recommendations. For
example, it’s important to book your hotel room with some time of anticipation, also you should
try to choose a multiple bed bedroom if you’re going with you family or with friends, it’s cheaper
than individual rooms. You ought to pack everything you need, some days before traveling. It’s
easy to forget what you need for the trip. You had better take good photos.

What should people do in the place you visited last vacation?

People should take a trip in a boat to get to know spectacular scenery around the island.

What shouldn’t people do in the place you visited last vacation?

People shouldn’t have bad manners with local people and shouldn’t throw garbage in the wrong
places.
