To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Miss Stephanie Chavez and it is a pleasure and privilege to do so. I
became acquainted with Stephanie this year, as she is a student in my English class. She is motivated,
organized, and very responsible. She works hard to maintain her 3.8 GPA and she rarely misses a day of
school.

Stephanie has a warm and genuine personality and adapts easily to any situation. She demonstrates her
competence, energy and commitment to others in every task she undertakes. She has excellent
communication skills with her peers as well as the ability to effectively communicate with her teachers
which is always appreciated. Her goal after high school is to get her Bachelor’s of Science in nursing and
become a Registered Nurse. She is bilingual in both English and Spanish which will be an asset to her in
future endeavors. She was granted the Seal of Biliteracy this year which shows proficiency in two
languages. She had to take four tests, write two essays and participate in two separate interviews to
receive this recognition.

Stephanie’s motivation in the academic arena as well as in her personal life is impressive and it shows in
everything she does. I believe that Stephanie should be at the top of any group of applicants when being
considered for a job or scholarship. She will be the first in her family to attend college which is such an
amazing aspiration. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you should have further questions in regard to
Stephanie. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Tara Morgan-Ramirez
