Dear Ms. Clark,

I saw that you were looking for an assistant for some extra help around the center and got very excited. As
one who has a lot of children in her life, I feel very experienced and know that I’ll do a great job.

I believe that taking care of other people’s children is a lot of work. You must grow a bond with them and
understand what they are going through. I am great at communicating with children and getting to know
how they work. I majored in Child Development and learned all about a child developing brain. I feel that
I am very knowledgeable in this field and could help out a ton around the child care center.

I have just graduated community college and plan to attend a University to gain more knowledge in Child
Development. I strive to one day own a child care center myself. Utilizing my knowledge and becoming
part of the team could give me amazing experience, while I’m working for my main goal.
