Call coordination
The Grant Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of SESAR Grants. Under the
responsibility of the Chief Development & Delivery and the coordination of the Call Coordinator, the
Grant Manager shall:
With the Call Coordinator and Programme Managers, ensure coordination and preparation of
calls for proposals in the fields of H2020 Exploratory Research, Industrial Research &
Validation and Very Large Scale Demonstration for ATM and any other relevant parts of the
programme;
Ensure publication of SESAR2020 calls for proposals according to the planning made by the
Call Coordinator: Contribute to the definition of the call passport and its details (in CPS) and
other call information for publication on the PP (using CAP); contribute to the set-up of calls
in SEP submission, including tailoring and testing of submission forms.
Support the launching, managing and monitoring of the call for proposals including experts
search and contracting and organization of the evaluation;
Act as intermediary between the Sesar JU and the H2020 support services for the call
preparation, in particular with regard to CPS, CAP, SEP and EMI;
Request evaluation support services of REA.C3 (logistics, planning);
Contribute to transition from evaluation/award to the grant preparation activities for H2020
and CEF calls.
Follow up applicants enquires related to SJU calls, including maintenance of functional
mailbox.
Contribute to reporting activities (e.g. as input to the annual activity report) in relation to the
calls and evaluation results;
Proven work in call coordination team for H2020 calls and other EU grants.
Advanced Knowledge of call coordination IT tools and in particular: CPS, CAP, EMI,
SEP.
Strong capacity to perform as a Grant manager / Project Officer and knowledge of
SyGMa/COMPASS.
Strong planning, analytical and organizational skills combined with legal and
administrative knowledge;
Experience in the usage of H2020 IT Tools;
Experience in EU Research Funding instruments (in particular H2020);
