Think about your point of view related to the following questions before meeting on
ooVoo:
1. Why do you think cyberbullying is taking place among children and teenagers
nowadays?
I think that cyberbullying is taking place among children and teenagers nowadays i
because parents or adults responsible for children and teenagers don’t exercise
control over the management that they do in their computers or telephone or any
other technological tool and so they are exposed to this problem.
-----------Is neccesary to know what is activities that they do in internet an who are
their friend, and who are they chating? Is esential to know this topics.
I think that as a teacher is essential to allow the students said what ever situation
without fried but obiosly is necessary to give them the confidence , and so that in the
event that they are being victims of cyberbulling they can tell me or comment to me the
situation that happening and so to present the case to their parents or in an extreme
case to the police .
2. As a teacher, what would you do if you find out one of your students is being
bullied online? What would you do if one of your students is a bully online?
Like mention before is necessary to present the situation to their parent or police
because is as a teacher just help them in advice but not we can’t management this
situation therefore is a problem in wich their family know.
4. Why do you think some children and teenagers have committed suicide pressured
by cyberbullying? Is there something that teachers and parents could have done to
avoid these situations and prevent their deaths?
I think this happens because there are lack of confidence in their families, friend and also
in their teachers and is important that as adults can offer then this one because is
obviously we can be avoided if we have a look in their personality changes in their
acttitudes and thus we can stoped this situations
I really don’t know nerver strategy I don’t listen no one but I listen that in Colombia now there
are a law that allow to parent get into in their web sites and kow what is the activities and chat
of their children. And for me thi sis agood strategy for to stop the cyberbulling.

realized that this mentioned that In a world dominated by texts and emails,
schools are devoting less attention to handwriting. But experts warn that the trend
deprives students valuable lessons today SKILLS. however, students have little
time to learn the basics THINGS, BUT less experience with a personal style. The
last federal standards in the basic framework only refer to handwriting in
kindergarten and first grade.
States have the option to extend the instruction handwriting, but many do not
think that children need more. Today 41 states do not require cursive and most
districts elect reserve class time for other skills.
"In many, probably typing help students succeed in racing and in school cursive,"
said Morgan Polikoff, assistant professor of K-12 policy and leadership of the
University of Southern California. People who appreciate calligraphy show a
strong connection between writing and brain development, recent studies say.
The investigation showed that the act of writing helped children learn letters and
shapes, develop fine motor skills and generate better ideas than when working
on a computer.
MRI tests in a study at the University of Indiana in 2010 showed that children
showed much greater neuronal activity practice handwriting that by looking at the
letters on a page. A 2012 study suggested that handwriting contributed to the
child's ability to process letters and build reading skills in a way that could not
typing.
"I think many TEACHERS are truly aware of how children learn exactly how it
works and affects the handwriting on the cognitive process.

(Matthew Lipman)

Hello Dear Javier;
I could read your contribution and I think that as a teachers we have toanalyze
and look for what are the needs in the process of learning English.
in the time of teaching a foreign language should take into account not only we
have to teach words and grammatical structures but also must teach to use, in
our case English, appropriately and fluently in contexts and life situations daily.
This implies motivate students and lead to the same interest and positive attitude
towards the language if they are motivated want to learn it and include it in their
daily work. In short we should make our students feel happy about learning the
English language.

Johanna Sanchez.
