The Datalinks Eazybank AX Courseware consists of detailed training manuals, designed from a
training perspective. These manuals include advanced topics as well as training objectives,
exercises, interactions and quizzes.
Within the Datalinks Eazybank AX Training Materials you will find a variety of different exercises.
These exercises are offered in different levels to accommodate the variety of knowledge and
expertise of each student. We suggest you try as much of the exercises to improve your expertise
level.
Documentation Convention
The following conventions are used throughout this documentation to help you quickly and
effectively navigate through the information.
CAUTION: Cautions are found throughout the training manual and are preceded by the word
CAUTION in bold. Cautions are used to remind you of a specific result of a specific action which
may be undesirable.
HINT: Hints are found throughout the training manual and are preceded by the word HINT in bold.
Hints are used to suggest time-saving features or alternative methods for accomplishing a specific
task.
NOTE: Notes are found throughout the training manual and are preceded by the word NOTE in
bold. Notes are used to provide information which, while not critical, may be valuable to an end
user.
EXAMPLE: Examples are found throughout the training manual and are preceded by the word
EXAMPLE in bold. Examples bring to light business scenarios that may better explain how an
application can be used to address a business problem.
1. Vault Transfers; for transferring cash into the vault (Vault In) and transferring cash out of the vault
(Vault Out)
2. Deposits, Bills and Fees Collection; for cash and cheques deposit by customers and for the
collection of bills and fees on behalf of customers
3. Returned Cheques; for the posting of returned cheques from clearing
4. Cash Withdrawals; for the cash withdrawals by customers from their savings and current accounts
5. MC/Draft Issue - for the issuance of manager's cheques/bank drafts
6. MC/Draft Liquidation - for the liquidation/settlement of previously issued manager's cheques/drafts
7. Non-Cash/Funds Transfers – Local; for transfer of funds between two accounts of the same bank
in the same country
8. Funds Transfers – International; for transfer of funds between one local account and a foreign bank
account
9. Force Clear Cheques - for the pre-mature clearing of cheques or forceful clearing of cheques prior
to the entered clearing dat
10. Standing Orders; for the set up and execution of period fund transfer instruction based on a fixed
amount or as an account sweep
11. Same Day Reversals; for the reversal of transactions posted in the current posting date without
having them reflect in account statements
12. Account Enquiry; for general viewing of account balance, statement and other sundry information
