fungus - Beauveria bassiana

The liquid formulation of Entomopathogenic fungus isolate - Beauveria bassiana is a unique

technology of ICAR-NRCB which is effective against banana insect pests. The liquid
formulation is also better than solid formulation (Talcum formulation) with a shelf life of two
years. The ITMU of ICAR-NRCB transferred the liquid formulation technology to the State Bio
Control Laboratory, Mannuthy, Thrissur-680651, Kerala on 27.02.2016 with one day hands on
training on the preparation of liquid formulation. On this occasion,

Deputy Director of Agriculture, State Bio Control Laboratory in the presence of
Shri. N S Sureshkumar, Agricultural Officer, State Bio Control Laboratory.
