    SOLUTION
    1.To Compute the markdown, we have
    Markdown = Original Selling price – Reduce Price
    = ₱ 1,948.00 - ₱1,499.00
    = ₱ 449.00

    2. Markdown Rate = Markdown


    Original Selling Price
    = ₱ 449,00
    ₱1,948.00
    = 0.2305 or 23.05%

    SOLUTION

    1.To Compute the markup, we have

    MarkUp = Selling price - Cost

    2. Selling Price = Cost


    1-0.35
    = ₱ 1,050.00
    1-(0.35)
    = ₱ 9,692.31
