Transcript/Attendance Reflection

I believe that my grades do not reflect my capabilities. I could have gotten better grades if I

chose to in my previous years. Unless you are always on top of your grades everyday then your

grades can reflect the way you are. For many people grades do not reflect them because they chose

not to do the work even though they know how to do it. It does however reflect that you can be

lazy and chose not to do it. It can be hard because some teachers are strict which makes it harder to

bring your grade up which isn’t our fault.

Although grades don’t describe your capabilities, it can describe the type of person your

are. For me in this case, I believe that I could have done better with my grades, but sometimes it

was hard because there was obstacles that would prevent me from staying on top of them. For

example, the passing of my grandparents greatly impacted my life and made it hard in school. My

parents had to leave to Mexico, and only me, my brother, and sister stayed home because of

school.

The grades I got in High School are not the grades that I expect in College. In college it

will be different because I will actually enjoy the major that I will be going into. It can be hard and

stressful but it will pay off in the future of my career. My capabilities do not reflect on my grades at

all because there was obstacles that I had to go around, like family situations or teachers missing

assignments that I turned in. I believe that if I would have truly proposed myself to get better

grades I could have.
