Reflection

My perspective has not grown at all throughout my drafts. I was never attached to this
project or forming a deep or meaningful perspective. The only thing I wanted accomplish with
my poem was to make a funny trap parody song that's wasn't depressing or meant to be taken
seriously like all the other poems. I do not have multiple drafts of my poem as I wrote it and
changed out bars as I went along. The only thing I wish I could change looking back is maybe
slightly less random adlibs, internet samples and bass.

The first most important change I made to my poem to my poem was adding a lit beat.
My poem would have sounded awful without a hype beat. The beat really carried my poem and
made it all come together. I really liked the bass and I thought the beat went well with my flow.
The only change I would have made would be to reduce the bass a little bit as it obscured my
vocals.

The second most Important change , In my opinion, I made was adding ad libs. Some
people adlibs are distracting, unnecessary and take away from the bars of the track. However, I
think the ad libs took away some of the seriousness of the track, which i liked. I added random
noises and sound effects that related to the bars or I thought sounded funny/entertaining. I may
have overdone it a little bit but, adding ad libs was probably the most fun part of recording my
track.

Finally, the last thing I added to my track was clips from the youtube. This was probably
the least essential part of my track. I found clips and sample on youtube from video games, tv
shows, weapons etc. I downloaded these clips from youtube and placed them appropriately in
my song. I think these samples also added an element of comedy to my poem. I also think I
overdid it on the youtube samples a little bit but Im definitely glad I added them as it added an
extra element to my track.
