Background:
Assume your role as the project engineer for ABC construction company. The
company wants to submit tender documents for the Metro Train Project advertised
by government of Punjab. As a part of tender documents, the bidder need to submit
a comprehensive project schedule

Scope:
M/S ABC Construction Company, is expected to start from clear roads made
available by the government of Punjab at the beginning of the project. The
elevated metro train track spans 27 kilometers with 20 stations. All the
stations are expected to be elevated as well (no underground part). The
company is expected to deliver an elevated 27 Km long metro track fully
fitted with the functioning rail track and fully functioning 20 train stations
from mechanical, civil and electrical perspective

As a project engineer you are tasked with development of project schedule that
must constitute following elements

a. A work break down structure with at least four levels and a total of
minimum 20 activities
b. A RCI matrix
c. A comprehensive action plan (activities, precedence, time requirements and
resource requirements) and a linear responsibility chart
d. MS project generated Gantt Chart
e. MS project generated Network diagram
f. The Critical path (the earliest time to complete the project)
g. The near critical paths
h. The probability of completion by due date
i. Calculation of slack on all the activities
j. Submit a comprehensive project report including Scope, Objective,
Overview and all of the above
