Chariots of Fire

This movie tells about racist and dissent. That proven by the two main characters,
Abraham Harold and Eric Liddell who have offspring. Harold who has Jewish ancestry has
looked down upon by people around him, even the Cambridge did not approve that he is trained
by Mr. Mussabini who has Italy-Arabian descent. While Liddell who is Scottish and was born
in China is a very devout Christian. He was forced to not run a race on Sabbath.

There are so many obstacles such as the surrounding environment, competition between
the two characters and the struggle with the mind themselves. However, they can break all
these negative looks about them by winning the Olympic. They can prove that they can do it
out of the sight of others. Harold can also be considered the same as others, even worshiped by
British people. Either with Liddel that can be proud of his country.

In this movie tells what makes someone a good British. The Chancellor of Cambridge
said that athletic achievement was very important because it could help complete the British
education. Therefore, they can create a character, foster courage, honesty and leadership in
their lives. The important things about good British are they have the spirit of loyalty,
friendship, and responsibility in their country, England.
