Occupants: Family of 6. Casey is 43. Krysta is 41. Have two girls ages 17 and
9. Have two boys ages 16 and 14. They also have a dog- does
not shed. Casey works from home as a project manager. Krysta
works part time at youngest daughter’s school.

Special Considerations: Has a reasonable budget, but better under than over. Space must
be extremely functional while also having a fun environment.

Lifestyle: The Moes family lives a very busy, very active life. Their kids have
multiple practices to go to. They love to open their house to others
especially to their kids friends. They like to spend time as a family.

Hobbies: They like to play games and watch movies together as a family.
They also like to go on hikes . The Moes family also enjoys going
on vacation and exploring new places together.

Space to be Designed: Downstairs basement (game room)

Entertaining: The Moes family enjoys having their teenagers’ friends over. Their
extended family also lives close so the occasional birthday party
and sunday night dinners occur.

Daily Activities for Watching T.V./movies, playing video games, have teenagers
Space: over, playing board games, reading. Used mostly for entertaining.

Favorite Colors: Neutrals

Room Impressions: Very comfortable and inviting. Room is also functional.

Desired Style: Rustic, modern. Cozy. Sleek straight lines. Neutral colors. Woods.

Problem Statement:
Casey and Krysta want two new entertainment centers that are more functional and more fun to
look at. Their entertainment center must have room for video games, movies, dvd players all
while hiding some and looking nice. They would also like cupboards and storage for their games
as well. They also want a bigger game table. They really do like a lot of their stuff in their
basement at the moment, but would like to spruce a few things up. They would also like a
couple accent walls and a barn door entering their basement.
