2 Market Analysis
Target market for this product is people in general because the need of travelling or people who
like to do outdoor activity is not based on any specific age, any occupation, or other any
characteristic of people; almost everyone who is travelling outdoors will always need food to
survive.
This market survey is done to specify our market target since our product could be used for all
kind of customer. At first, the team are focusing on college students who is a frequent traveller,
such as backpacker, hiker, and camper. Based on our previous research, a suitable user other
than traveller is people who suffered from natural disaster, live in remote area, and has difficult
access to electricity. Nowadays, commoners in city are likely to use simple but effective
methods of cooking which includes simple stoves that can be used without heavy maintenance.
Electrical stove is a much better choice to those who lives in area where electricity is easy to
access but are afraid of incident life gas explosion. On the other hand, middle-classed citizens
like cooking with gas stove better than electrical stove. Since, the 3kg gas container is
subsidized by the government and the distribution the gas container is not hard to reach. Finally,
citizens who dwells in remote and isolated area tend to use traditional stove which use wood
and charcoal for instances as sources of heat to cook meals
All parties mentioned above are required a daily goods delivered. For a beginner production,
an individual customer is more plausible. An early branding and company’s growth are
obtained from this method. The team expected the market survey will illustrate a suitable target
for this product.
