Air India is committed to a working environment that respects the inherent dignity of all persons, affording them the opportunity to reach their fullest potential and empowering them to deliver the best possible results for all the people that Air India serves. Every person has the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and to work in safe environments free from harassment, abuse, and discrimination. Every Air India employee also has a corresponding responsibility to actively promote such an environment. “Sexual Harassment” includes any one or more of the following unwelcome acts or behaviour (whether directly or by implication) namely:— (i) physical contact and advances; or (ii) a demand or request for sexual favours; or (ii) making sexually coloured remarks; or {iv) showing pornography; or (v) any other unwelcome physical, verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature. Air India is committed to a zero-tolerance approach to sexual harassment. Sexual Harassment is unacceptable and will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This means that any reports of sexual harassment will be dealt with promptly, justly, sternly and heavily, in accordance with the applicable procedures of Air India. (MadhuC.
