TESTIMONAL

Throughout the past few months, I have enjoyed the privilege of being a part of the Little

Falls Community High School Internship Program. I spent my time in the Little Falls

Community Middle School with Mr. Tenold, the band director. Having known him since sixth

grade, I figured he would be a good person to go to as a future music teacher. I was there from

8:00 to 10:58 (first through third period) daily. During that time he had advisory and individual

band lessons. I had a lot of hands on experience with education kids about their instruments,

notes, and rhythms.

I am so lucky to have been granted this opportunity. At the beginning of this semester, I

thought I wanted to be a band director. Now, I realize that my heart lies in music performance. If

I had not gone through all that I did these past few months, I would have gone to college and

wasted my money on something I did not want to major in. I would wholeheartedly recommend

this program to all students. Even if they think they 100% know what they want to do, they may

change their minds after being out in the field.
