Hi Ms Couch,

Please accept this letter and resume as an application for a $50,000 investment in

exchange for 50% equity of my business. This funding will be used to help improve

manufacturing processes marketing, and product distribution.

My academic success shows my willingness to fight through challenges and produce new

ideas and solution. I will be attending Duke University in the fall and I’ve taken many advanced

classes in math and science during high school. My experience working in scientific labs will

also help me improve my product. In labs, I learned the importance of sanitation and labs were

also where I got inspiration for my product. I’m sure as I continue to pursue an education in

science and work in more labs, my expertise in the science field will only help me improve my

product and perhaps create new derivatives.

The strengths I have as an ultimate frisbee team leader will aid in my success. Part of

being an ultimate frisbee includes promoting the sport to the public. My work in trying to

convince people that ultimate frisbee isn’t a casual dog game has taught me to stand up for less

popular views and how to advertise unconventional ideas.
