He is also enrolled in my honors biochemistry class, a senior lective. Kevin consistently has been a hard worker, and has never really been afraid to approach me with {questions. When he approaches me he does son a respectful manner. He works wel with others, contributes {0 group assignments, and isa valuable laboratory partner. His interest inthe subject is absolutely genuine, which will lst through his education into his career. He applies his academic strategies to all of his classes, earning himself A Honor Roll every year, a GPA over 4, a rank in the top 5% of his class, excellent SAT. scores, and a seat in the National Honor Society. kevin is involved in a number of extracurricular activities including Biology Club, Physies Club, chorus, band, theatre, Boy Scouts, and a number of volunteer opportunities. He has served as vice president and president of the Biology Club, as president of the Chorus Club, and he was chosen as drum major forthe ‘marching band this season. He has participated and successfully auditioned for several Pennsylvania Music Educators Association festivals, including the All-State and All-Eastem festivals. Through Boy Scouts Kevin has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, Sunior Assistant Scoutmastr, and Assistant Senior Patrol Leader. He stated that he leamed a lot about leadership through the scout program. Kevin is very good at balancing his time between academics, activites, and other responsibilities. For example, in addition to all the other ‘activities in which he is involved he works as a groundskeeper ata local farming esate, volunteers for the “American Red Cross and works with Tri-County Church in a variety of aspects. ‘As you ean see, Kevin has made a positive impression on me, others teachers, the administration, and is peers.
