My AVID Why?
(Why am I in AVID (Root-tap)?)

Avid is the path way that I wanted to go to college so that I can be prepared with the challenge and be
determine to fulfil my goals. I would learn organizational skills that would not only help me in school but as
well as in life after college.

I’m decided to take AVID program because I have family members that were in AVID when they in high
school and it changed their life and determination to go to college. I saw how prepared they got to go to
college.

Why being prepared for college is important to me is that if I can see my family members could do it then I
also can do it. They can help me with any struggles. That's where AVID comes into play with when I am
struggling, I can always seek for help. When my focus from my goals that I set begin to drift away the
preparation that I learned in AVID can set me straight and fall back into line with my goals and that I can
achieve them.

The reason that I would like to further my education and go to college is because I like to be
knowledgeable as an person. Than most of the jobs nowadays are looking for individuals that have
degrees from an college or an institution. With the constant advancement of the workforce and
technology, we need people that would be able to use them and college can teach us. College is also an
time we’re someone could find themselves as an person and know there life goals.
