1. Rene Magritte- (1898-1967) Born in Lessines, Belgium.

It’s 
said that his mom drowned herself in a lake, and her face was 
covered, so faces are covered in his art.  
2. Salvador Dali- (1904-1989) Born in Figueres, Spain. In his 
childhood he was told that he was a reincarnation of his dead 
brother.  
3. Andre Breton- (1896-1966) Born in Tinchebray, 
Tinchebray-Bocage, France. He went to medical school, but 
was drafted into world war 1 part way through.  
4. Man Ray- (1890-1976) Born in Philadelphia, PA. He worked 
for his parents in a garment factory and doing patchwork, and 
tailoring items appear in his work.  
5. Marcel Duchamp- (1887-1968) Born in Blainville-Crevon, 
France. His siblings were also artists, and he followed their
