The parts of speech explain how a word is used in a sentence.
The part of speech indicates how the word functions in meaning as well as grammatically within the sentence. There are eight main parts of speech: nouns, pronouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, prepositions, conjunctions and interjections.
Nouns: It’s basically a person, place, thing, or idea.
A person might be a student, girl, boy, Leonela, Jorge, the doctor,
etc.
For example. Leonela lives here
A Place might be Venezuela, a college, bedroom, beach. Etc
For example: She lives in Venezuela
A Thing might be a pen, car, sun, mirror, etc
For example. They have a car
An idea might be liberty, bravery, sadness, fear, etc.
