A Beautiful Princess of Roro Jonggrang

Once upon a time there was a prince. His name was Bandung Bondowoso. He felt
in love with a beautiful princess by the name Roro Jonggrang. To get her love,
Bandung had to build a thousand temples in a night. To do so, then, Bandung
Bondowoso asked to help from his army of genies. When the temple reached 999,
suddenly crows of cocks were heard. The genies, thinking that the sun had already
risen, ran away. After finding out that it was all Roro Jonggrang’s trick, Bandung
Bondowoso cursed her into a statue.
