My alarm started ringing at 7 am. Great I thought.

I was already awake long before my

alarm started ringing. I could not sleep the night before. All I thought about was my

game. I had to drink this special drink my dad told me to drink to calm my nerves at 2 in

the morning. I got out of bed and got dressed. I was already late.Great. The day before I

couldn't focus on my studies I was just thinking about my soccer game. It was the

championship game so there is a reason to be worried. I felt like my inside were all

curled up in a ball and stopped working but somehow I was alive. I am the captain of my

team so there is so much to do when I get there but then again I was proud I was the

captain. I walked down the stairs and the smell of pancakes immediately hit my face. No

I can’t eat I thought to myself I need to be able to run with my stomach empty. I headed

outside to wait for my family especially my cousins who always knew how to cheer me

up ,make me laugh and give me some good advice before my game. I saw a big blue

truck pull up in my driveway. Yes there here I thought. As soon as the truck parked my

cousin jenni came out the truck and started running towards me. “Theres the family’s

messi!”. She shouted before giving me a hug. She always made me laugh when she

said that. I of course was not as good as messi but that was my nickname.”Hi jenni” I

said. She started making fun of me calling me a minion but I found it funny.” I said hi to

the rest of my family and then we headed to michigan. It took around 4 hours but my

soccer game was until 4 so we had time. We finally got there and I saw my girls already

warming up. “Theres the captain !” They all shouted. I was going to miss them it was our

last game together. We practiced for around 1 hour and when every minute passed I felt

even more nervous. Everyone is counting on me. The thought of that made my stomach
swirl. The ref called for group 3a which was us. I headed to the field and I started

kicking the ball. in the first 10 minutes, it was kind of slow not exciting. Then by like

minute 20 I scored a goal. Not a pretty big deal but we were winning. Second half

started and as soon as it stated I already had the ball. I was looking behind me to see

who I could pass the ball to and out of nowhere I felt the biggest pain I have EVER

experienced in my short life. It was coming from my ankle. It felt as if millions of needles

were trying to come out my skin. After that I passed out because I looked down at my

ankle. All i remember was waking up in a emergency room with my WHOLE family

inside the room there was like 30 people in that room that's’ true love my cousin says

every time we look back at the incidence. But other than that we won!.
