Chiew Teng has a strong foundation in pedagogy as an English teacher, especially in terms of building
relationships with her students. Her biggest achievement academically was improving her Form 3
students’ passing rate in English by 53% compared to the results they got in mid 2018. She goes above and
beyond for them to ensure that no one is left behind, as evidenced by the initiative she ran in her second
year of the Fellowship which focused on mentoring students from academically weak classes to develop
them into leaders. I would recommend Chiew Teng whole-heartedly.
