What is it?: ​Bloomz is a mobile and web app that teachers and schools can use 
to communicate with parents. 
Where can I get it?:​ iOS,iPhone, iPad, Internet compatibility computers, etc. 
How much does it cost?:​ Bloomz is a FREE app and website that allows 
teachers and parents to communicate freely and easily in a consolidated place. 
How do I join?:​Just download the app or go to bloomz.com and Create an 
account. You claim a child as yours and then multiple members of the family can be 
linked to 1 student. Use the teacher given code to be logged into the classroom.

Why it’s a great tool?: ​Bloomz allows parents and teachers to stay in 
communication easily and quickly in this one stop shop app for educators and their 
student’s parents. This is a great app and website to use that can be used for more 
than 1 purpose. This is a app/ website that takes multiple apps and combines them 
into one for the convenience of both parents and teachers alike.  
What can you do with Bloomz?:  
● Post classroom updates 
● Post pictures 
● Sign up for parent-teacher conferences  
● Sign up for volunteers 
● Post reminders about upcoming events 
● Message parents and see if message had been viewed 
● Only invite parents by email or teacher made code 
● Add upcoming events and classroom calendar  
● Behavior reports for students 
● Portfolios of students 
● And much more... 
How it’s used in my placement?: ​My CT and I use this app daily to 
communicate with parents. We use it to post reminders and updates of upcoming 
events in the classroom. We also use it to keep in close contact with the student’s 
parents. We send messages about students who had a great day and we also use 
Bloomz to send messages home to parents about a bad day that a students may 
have had. It’s nice to have all of this capability with this app and we use it to our 
advantage to make things easier for us as teachers.
