I Communicated with my Red Cross Liaison through email figuring out a location to hold the
blood drive.
March 12, 2019 – March 25, 2019 1 hour
I contacted possible locations to hold the drive like, West Concord American Legion, Dodge
Center American Legion, West Concord Historical Society.
March 27, 2019 – April 12, 2019 1 hour
I continued communication with my liaison about logistics of the drive like, the time of the drive,
the type of drive we are having, and recruitment plan.
May 2, 2019 8:00AM-9:00AM 1 hour
Helped set up Triton High School blood drive. I set up tables and chairs, and hung up posters
May 2, 2019 9:00AM-2:00PM 5 hours
I shadowed and helped out at Triton High Schools blood drive. I entered names into The Red
Cross’ system, and greeted donors.
May 6, 2019 1 hour
I created flyers to put up, and asked people face to face to donate at my blood drive. I ended up
with 10 donors signed up.
May 15, 2019 8:00-9:00AM 1 Hour
I talked to my mentor about an overview of the drive, and what we had left to do. Talked about
advertising, and what the day of the drive will look like

I advertised by posting flyers in various locations around the community.

Posted more flyers in various locations. Talked to people face to face about the blood drive.
