It’s nine o’clock. It’s quarter past two.

It’s half past eight. It’s quarter to eight.

I get up at 7 o’clock. I have dinner

Time Expressions
a.m. = ante meridiem (before noon : in the morning)
p.m. = post meridiem (after noon : in the afternoon, in the evening, at night)
12:00 a.m. = midnight 12:00 p.m. = noon
