William Shakespeare was believed
to have been born on the date of April
23, 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon, United
Kingdom. He was educated as a kid in
Stratford but did not go to college. We
don’t know exactly when he started
writing but we know that his plays were
on the stage no later than 1592 and
have been playing ever since.
Early life
William, the son of John
Shakespeare was believed to be
born on April 23, 1564 in the town of
Stratford-upon-Avon, England. He
was the third of eight children. He
went to school in Stratford. He got
married at the age of 18.
Married Life
William was married on the 27th of
November in 1582 to 26-year-old
Anne Hathaway. Six months after
the marriage the couple were now
parents to a girl. Two years later,
twins, One boy and one girl. The
boy, Hamnet, died at age 11 to a
unknown cause.
Career
Early Works
His works were in the theatre by 1592. Most of
his early plays were primarily comedies and
histories. These were regarded as some of his
best works in those categories.
Later Works
Most of his later works were tragicomedies
(also known as romances). In 1609 the
Bubonic Plague caused a close to the theatre
for about 60 months. This kind of put an end
to his career.

He had many plays but some of his most famous were some of the following:
The Merchant of Venice, Romeo and Juliet, The Tempest, Twelfth Night,
Othello, Macbeth, and Hamlet.
