I am writing in regards to the Retail Staff position as a Game Advisor with Gamestop. I
learned of this position through advertisements at the Woodland location. At the time I
write this letter, I am currently a student at Da Vinci Charter Academy in Davis,
California. I will graduate on June 13, 2018.

My dedication and interest in video games, as well as my ambitions for a future career
in the games industry and desire to expand my work experience have led me to apply
for this position. I wish to apply my knowledge and enthusiasm for gaming to help others
who would be in need of someone in the position I am applying for, whatever might be
needed for the job. My high school education was highly centered around working in
groups to complete projects and create successful products, and I believe the
experience with working in a group I gained from that will be a highly helpful skill in this
career. My experience both in DVCA and in the Boy Scouts of America has given me
valuable leadership skills applicable to a variety of situations, as well as strengthening
my skills working with other people. However, I can also work just fine by myself.
