MistahSparkles70. “Betty White Snickers Super Bowl Commercial 2010.” YouTube, YouTube,

Feb. 2010, www.youtube.com/watch?v=18ya0-OZ58s.

This is the advertisement presented by snickers to inform men who play football that they will

not play as good as they usually do when they are hungry. The commercial uses comedy to grab

the viewer's attention placing a old female in a pickup game of football. The commercial opens

up with one of the players being a female being tackled to the ground then after eating a snickers

the old female becomes a strong powerful man. The commercial gives the effect that only men

are able to play football as the whole and women aren't. As snickers commercials are usually

meant to be funny more than focusing on a lens it still does produce one being against feminism.

The source uses a lot of evidence from the commercial to provide their statement. The source

also goes into detail on how the seduction of chocolate and women gets viewers attention using

women as a way to get the main attention. I plan on using the details of this source to provided

that women are used to promote the simplest things like a candy bar.
