Self-Reflection

Creating this project on the last day of semester was full of challenges. First of all, I’m not

very good with making presentations. It took me double the amount of time than a regular student

would normally take. I started off with the idea of storyboards, but it was time consuming and I

didn’t have all the material to go with the idea of the storyboard. I simply switched it to a power

point presentation where I would narrate my presentation and then present it. The idea of narration

also didn’t go well. Now, I was only left with a simple power point with visual pictures and texts.

The only thing I know about multimodal is the use of more than one form of modes. I was not sure

about it as I’ve only pictures and texts, would that be considered a multimodal. It uses more than

one mode. These are the challenges I faced during this presentation. My strength through this

project would only be my first time use of power point which has opened a new way for me. The

thing I’ve learnt in this class is consistency and thinking out of the box. This project forced me to

use an old yet a new tool for me.
