A. Describe the activity and the goal of the activity. [3 sentences or more]
To make a 30 second pitch trying to convince an employer or hiring manager to litence to our reassiongs. We
talk about how we can benefit to there company. We only have 30 seconds to bring out the best in us and how
we can be good use to them. We mention our best qualities about ourselves and make sure the other person
has a welcoming greeting from us as well as our contact information.

B. How does the activity demonstrate your skills as an effective communicator, a critical thinker or demonstrate
your character development?
This activity demonstrate my skills as a effective communicator because when the assignment was submitted
and complete my teacher had us pitch it to him in person. When it was my turn to speak to my teacher I had to
speak clearly and with no errors. This helped me to not talk fast when trying to make a valid statement but
speak clearly while going straight to the point. This has also prepared me to be able to make small talk and
improved my communication skills.

C. What could you do next to improve your abilities in the Student Learning Outcomes for this specific artifact?
OR How will you use this skill in the future? [5 sentences or more]
What I can do to improve my abilities in the Student Learning Outcomes is to not talk to fast. To not make a
statement that might offend an employer. Using attention grabbers is the best way to start in order to get the
audience's attention. Time myself when practicing my pitch so i am more well prepared. Finally, making sure I
mention my true self and best qualities for a specific job.
